<br><br>Alexander Vasilievich (Ukrainian Oleksandr Krivenko; born April 20, 1958) – Ukrainian military leader. First Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine – Chief of Staff. General.<br>Biography<br>Born on April 20, 1958 in the village of Glinsk, Svetlovodsky District, Kirovograd Region.<br><br>In 1979 he graduated from the Omsk Higher Combined Arms Command twice Red Banner School named after M. V. Frunze with a gold medal. Served in the Armed Forces of the USSR, the National Guard of Ukraine, and the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. He rose from a platoon commander to deputy commander of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.<br><br>In 1999 he graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with honors.<br><br>In June 2012, he was appointed Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate – Commander of the – Chief of Staff.<br><br>On April 18, 2014 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, he was appointed First Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine. On August 23, 2014 he was awarded the military rank of Lieutenant General. From October 14, 2014 to February 6, 2015, acting Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine.<br><br>On November 10, 2018, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, relieved of his post as First Deputy Commander of NSU.<br><br>He is the author of many publications and tutorials.<br>
